Yog Foundation's mission extends far beyond the realms of Hindu faith and tradition. At the core of our ethos lies the commitment to serving and assisting those in need, embodying the spirit of 'seva' or selfless service. Through our charity fundraisers, support for food banks, COVID-19 outreach program, and free IT classes for the elderly, we strive to make a positive impact in various areas.

Charity Fundraisers

Our efforts have successfully raised significant funds for various important causes, aimed at aiding and uplifting the lives of the less fortunate. Examples of our fundraising initiatives include organising a Blindfolded Charity Walk to support the Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC), raising funds for a UK charity dedicated to providing medical care and education for special needs children in rural areas of Bhutan, participating in ISSO Seva by assisting medical camps and orphanages in Kenya, and supporting the Kailash Satyarthi Foundation to prevent child abuse.

COVID-19 Outreach Programme

Our dedicated volunteers reached out to vulnerable members of our community, offering assistance with essential tasks such as shopping and lending a compassionate ear to those in need of support during the pandemic.

Free IT Classes for the Elderly

Recognizing the importance of technology as a vital communication tool, we have organised a program specifically designed for the elderly. These classes aim to equip them with the basics of using WhatsApp, social media, and the internet, enabling them to stay connected with their loved ones. We express our gratitude to Townley Grammar School for providing us with their IT facility to facilitate these valuable classes.

Through our diverse range of initiatives, Yog Foundation is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities, transcending cultural and religious boundaries. We firmly believe in the power of service and remain dedicated to creating a more compassionate and inclusive society for all.
