About Varchasva
Created by Yog Foundation in collaboration with the world renowned leadership training experts at Faith in Leadership at St. Benet’s Hall, University of Oxford, Varchasva is the UK’s national youth leadership programme for young British Hindus.
Unique and the first of its kind, the programme fosters a holistic approach to leadership development, with an emphasis on leadership of the self and not just of others. This is applied in every aspect of their being, including education, career, socially and spiritually.
The programme is suitable for young Hindus aged 18-25 who have a demonstrable interest in leadership and takes place over three residential modules on three weekends between August 2022 and April 2023. The first module will take place on 27th - 29th August 2022 in Belgium.
“This is a remarkable programme. Varchasva is developing an impressive group of young Hindu leaders of tomorrow.”
Professor Richard Cooper Master of St Benet's Hall, University of Oxford
Why should I apply?
Those who have completed Varchasva have found it profoundly transformational.
This unique programme, tailored specifically for British Hindu youth, develops and enhances your character, confidence and effectiveness as a leader using methods usually only available to high office holders from the corporate world and the public sector. It will also help you discover and define your identity as a young Hindu in British society.
The programme brings you together with young Hindu changemakers from across the UK and encourages a new generation of faith leaders to recognise the best in yourself and in one another to inspire, empower and bring forth Dharma and values-led change.
