The month of Chaitra is very auspicious in the Hindu calendar. In addition to Navratri, we celebrate the birthday of Shri Hanuman in the bright half (shukla paksha) of the month of Chaitra.
This year, this important occasion occurs in April - so we are delighted to be organising this exciting celebration on Saturday 16th April.

A highlight of the evening is recital of The Hanuman Chalisa for live broadcast as part of the world’s biggest virtual Hanuman Jayanti hosted by the humanitarian charity, GoDharmic.
• 5:00pm – Live Hanuman Chalisa Broadcast
Hanuman Chalisa is by the sant poet Tulsidas and often sung to Shree Hanuman requesting his devotion, service, humility, strength, power and protection and brings us back to our own hearts, especially during these unprecedented times.
• 6:00pm – Uplifting Bhajans
Sing along to energetic bhajans and hari naam kirtan. Try it, you will actually find it uplifting!
• 7:00pm Pooja of Shri Hanuman
With sindoor and oil for you to also join in
• Aarti followed by Prasad Dinner
