Once again The Big Diwali proved itself as the biggest event of the year in the area. Over 800 people came together from places as far as Bristol, Leicester and Chichester to celebrate and enjoy the varieties of culture, entertainment, devotion and prasad!

The live drama of "Life Lessons from the Ramayana" was not only a delight to watch with the dances, little children's dialogues and costumes but also deeply moving and inspiring for its messages on living a more fulfilled and truthful life. Our guests Sir David Evennett MP, James Brokenshire MP and The Deputy Mayor of Bexley James Hunt too were hugely impressed with the lessons on moral values the performance imparted. The divine presence of Shree Hanuman was genuinely felt during the back to back non-stop Hanuman Chalisa singing as everyone joined in with energy and passion.

The delicious prasad and pure veg dessert was a super hit and great advert for pure vegetarian cuisine! Thank you to all who helped out so selflessly and to all who joined in the celebrations.
