Vande Maataram! Our 8th Annual India Republic Day event was enjoyed by over 400 members of the community. Special guest Charlotte Littlewood, a leading academic, shared an eye opening talk on the truth of the Leicester Riots and media portrayal of Hindus in general.

The 'Desh Bhakt' skit by Yog Foundation's Hindi class children was amazing, as were incredible dance performances and the superb Heroes of India costumed acts of characters such as Jhansi ki Rani, Bhagat Singh and Gandhiji.

It was delightful to see so many new people join the community event and enjoy a delicious prasad dinner together.
